Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jeong Myeong-seop) provided food trucks for on-site rescue personnel and disaster victims in Yecheon-gun, where many casualties occurred due to extreme heavy rain.
On the 21st, Daegu Urban Development Corporation dispatched food trucks to support 1,600 on-site rescue personnel and disaster victims in Yecheon-gun, Gyeongbuk, which was declared a special disaster area by the government due to heavy rain, providing snack sets including sandwiches and beverages.
Daegu Urban Development Corporation quickly provided support in cooperation with Daegu Community Chest of Korea to relay support requests from the flood-affected site in real time and assist relief activities.
As a representative public enterprise of Daegu, Daegu Urban Development Corporation has carried out various social contribution projects for local residents. Employees voluntarily formed the ‘Cheongaram Volunteer Group’ to promote various volunteer activities such as free meal services and support for welfare facilities, and have been conducting the ‘Happy Plus! Hope Plus! Housing Support Project’ to improve housing for vulnerable groups. In March, they also joined the Sharing Prestigious Companies, a high-donation corporate club of Daegu Community Chest of Korea, leading ESG management in the region.
