GS Donates 1 Billion KRW for Flood Damage Recovery Support
GS Group announced on the 20th that it has donated 1 billion KRW to the Community Chest of Korea to support flood recovery efforts caused by extreme heavy rains in Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk regions.
A GS representative stated, "We hope to offer some comfort to the residents affected by the disaster and provide a small help to those facing difficulties," adding, "We will do our best to support the recovery of vulnerable groups and those impacted by the disaster."
Affiliates are also actively participating in overcoming the damage. GS Caltex provided over 150 sets of partitioned dividers and sleeping bag sets for shelters. GS Retail delivered emergency relief supplies to disaster victims in Chungbuk and Gyeongbuk regions as well as to relief workers doing their best to support them.

Meanwhile, GS had previously donated 1 billion KRW last year for flood recovery relief funds caused by heavy rains in the Jungbu area of Seoul, and has supported donations to areas facing difficulties such as the Gangneung wildfire this year.
