EcoPro Reaches 1.11 Million Won, Finally Crowned Emperor Stock... Foreigners Buy 250 Billion Won
EcoPro surpassed 1 million won based on the closing price, ascending to the status of a royal stock. At one point during the trading session, it overtook EcoPro BM to become the largest market capitalization stock on the KOSDAQ market.
On the 18th, EcoPro closed at 1,118,000 won, up 11.91% from the previous trading day. During the session, it rose to 1,148,000 won, setting a new all-time high.
On that day, foreigners led the price increase by net buying approximately 228,000 shares. Institutions showed a net selling preference with 13,000 shares sold, and individuals also recorded net sales of 214,000 shares.
EcoPro's market capitalization swelled to 29.77 trillion won. This is more than 11 times larger than the market capitalization of 2.6 trillion won at the end of last year.
EcoPro BM also surged. In the morning, the increase was not significant, causing it to lose the top spot in market capitalization on the KOSDAQ market, but it expanded its gains in the afternoon. Foreigners also led the price rise of EcoPro BM, recording net purchases of about 950,000 shares. During the day, foreigners bought EcoPro BM and EcoPro stocks worth 293 billion won and 249 billion won, respectively. Supported by foreign buying, EcoPro BM's stock price closed at 326,000 won, up 16.85% from the previous day. Its market capitalization grew to 31.9 trillion won.
