73 National Chambers of Commerce Donate Over 300 Million Won for Flood Recovery Fund

View original imageSeventy-three regional Chambers of Commerce under the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) have donated more than 300 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross and other organizations to support disaster victims and aid flood recovery efforts.
On the 18th, KCCI stated, "We extend our condolences to the bereaved families and all those affected," adding, "The nationwide chambers have gathered small acts of kindness to help victims return to their daily lives as soon as possible, hoping this assistance will be of some help."
The total amount of donations from the nationwide chambers is expected to exceed 300 million KRW. The Korea and Seoul Chambers of Commerce pledged 150 million KRW, while the remaining chambers committed another 150 million KRW. As support continues to pour in, the total donations from the nationwide chambers are projected to surpass 300 million KRW.
The Korea and Seoul Chambers of Commerce will donate to the Korean Red Cross, while each regional chamber will autonomously contribute to their respective local Korean Red Cross branches, Disaster Relief Associations, and Community Chest of Korea.
