Lee Gijae, Yangcheon District Mayor, Leads Public-Private Joint Inspection on Retaining Wall Safety in Galsan Area
Yangcheon District (Mayor Lee Gijae) conducted a public-private joint on-site inspection regarding the safety management of retaining walls in the Galsan area on the morning of the 18th.
At around 12:30 AM on the 18th, after receiving a report suspecting bulging of a retaining wall, the district immediately dispatched Yangcheon District safety management advisory committee members?composed of architects, structural engineers, and technicians?to the site around 2 AM on the 18th to conduct an initial emergency safety inspection.
Subsequently, at around 9 AM on the 18th, to perform a precise and thorough inspection, the district formed a public-private joint inspection team consisting of private experts such as civil structure, soil and foundation, and civil construction engineers, along with officials from related departments, and conducted a second on-site inspection. The inspection confirmed no abnormalities, allowing the resumption of passage and ensuring proactive safety management.
