40s Man Arrested for Assault Leading to Death at Wine Gathering
Under Investigation by Police for Suspected Causing Death by Negligence in Shanghai
A man in his 40s who assaulted a person he met at a wine gathering, resulting in the victim's death, has been arrested by the police.
According to the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul on the 17th, Mr. A was urgently detained the previous day on charges of injury resulting in death and has been under police investigation since the afternoon.
It is reported that Mr. A assaulted Mr. B during a verbal dispute at a wine gathering held at a hotel located in Gwangjin-gu. Mr. B was taken to the hospital but died during brain hemorrhage surgery.
