Doosan Group Donates 500 Million KRW for Disaster Victim Support and Flood Area Recovery
Doosan Group announced on the 17th that it will donate 500 million KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association to support victims affected by the heavy rains and to aid in the recovery of flood-affected areas nationwide.
The donation will be used for emergency housing and essential supplies for disaster victims, as well as for the restoration of flooded homes and roads.
This year, Doosan has provided 500 million KRW each for the Gangneung wildfire, and last year for the Uljin and Samcheok wildfires and the heavy rains in the central region, supporting disaster relief efforts both domestically and internationally. In February, Doosan Bobcat dispatched equipment worth approximately 1 million USD, including excavators and portable generators, to the earthquake site in Turkey to carry out relief activities.
