NongHyup Bank Holds Opening Ceremony for Noida Branch in India
Serving as a Hub for Expansion into South Asia
NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 16th that it held the opening ceremony of its Noida branch in India on the 13th to establish a foothold for entering the South Asian market and to expand its business focused on corporate financial services.
About 100 people attended the opening ceremony, including Kim Yong-gi, Vice President of NH Nonghyup Financial Group, Jang Jae-bok, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India, CEO Awasti of the Indian Fertilizer Cooperative, Siddharth Nath Singh, former Minister of Uttar Pradesh State, and Park Ui-don, President of the Korean Association in India.
Vice President Kim said, "India, with a population of about 1.3 billion and infrastructure, is a market with limitless development potential where Nonghyup Bank's strengths in agricultural and public finance can create various synergy businesses. The Noida branch will be a key hub for entering the South Asian market."

Following the opening of branches in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Sydney last year, Nonghyup Bank now operates a total of 11 overseas branches in 8 countries with the opening of the Noida branch, and is planning to establish new branches in London and Singapore in the future.
