KT Holds 'Able School' Job Fair... Cumulative Employment Rate Reaches 70% Through AI Capabilities
KT announced on the 14th that it held a Job Fair to support the employment of the 3rd cohort of trainees in the youth artificial intelligence (AI) talent development program, KT AIVLE School.
The event was attended by major companies within the KT Group, including KT, BC Card, K Bank, KT DS, and KT Cloud, as well as startups such as Orkestro (cloud software) and Data Science Lab (big data analytics solutions), who held recruitment briefings targeting the excellent digital talents nurtured by KT AIVLE School.

At the event, KT AIVLE School trainees had the opportunity to freely engage in Q&A sessions with recruitment officers from each company and current employees working in digital transformation-related roles. One trainee who participated said, “Although I am a non-major unrelated to IT, through KT AIVLE School’s training, I was able to gain practical experience and confidence to challenge roles in the digital transformation field. It was very helpful to receive practical advice on job preparation directly from recruiters at this event.”
The cumulative employment rate of graduates from the 1st and 2nd cohorts of KT AIVLE School exceeds 70%. KT AIVLE School operates its curriculum focusing on intensive AI education and various practical projects of different scales, recognizing that in the generative AI era, there will be higher demand for developers and consultants with extensive hands-on experience and strong teamwork skills, thereby enhancing the employability of its trainees.
Recruiters attending the event stated, “Companies urgently need digital talents who can collaborate with diverse team members to identify problems and implement feasible solutions rather than just coding skills. Since AI capabilities are difficult to objectively prove, emphasizing project experience accumulated through programs like AIVLE School can be advantageous for employment.”
The 3rd cohort of KT AIVLE School also won the grand prize and excellence awards at the K-Digital Training Hackathon hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in June. Previously, trainees from the 1st and 2nd cohorts also won the grand prize at the same competition.
A KT AIVLE School official stated, “As advanced digital transformation is required across all industrial sectors, more companies are showing interest in hiring digital practical talents nurtured by KT AIVLE School. Going forward, KT AIVLE School will continue to produce competitive digital practical talents who will lead Korea as an AI powerhouse and will do its best to expand employment opportunities so that these talents can thrive in more fields.”

Education centers based in KT regional headquarters in the metropolitan area as well as Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan are also available. Experts currently working within the KT Group participate in the AIVLE School program to provide multifaceted support such as project portfolio consulting and mock interviews, helping trainees gain practical assistance for employment.
