On the 15th (local time), President Yoon Suk-yeol held a summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and then conducted an emergency situation briefing with his aides to address the heavy rainfall response.
According to a statement from the presidential office, President Yoon held a meeting on the train returning from Ukraine to Warsaw, Poland, to conduct an emergency situation briefing for the heavy rainfall response.
During his return journey from Poland to Korea, President Yoon plans to convene a Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters meeting via video conference, attended by Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and relevant ministers, to receive reports on the damage and response status related to the heavy rainfall.
