Hwasun-gun to Recruit 2nd Batch of 50 '10,000 Won Rental Housing' Units Starting August
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 15th that the second round of recruitment for the '10,000 Won Rental Housing' program, which is conducted to respond to local extinction and alleviate the housing burden of young people and newlyweds, is scheduled to begin in August.
The 10,000 Won Rental Housing program is a project in which Hwasun-gun leases local apartments and subleases them to newlyweds and young people for a monthly rent of only 10,000 won.
The rental apartments targeted are 66㎡ (20-pyeong) units located in Hwasun-eup, and the rental deposit of 48 million won per household is fully supported by the county.
The first round of recruitment, which began in May, attracted a total of 506 young people and newlyweds applying for 50 units, showing a high competition rate of 10:1.
The 49 selected tenants (1 withdrew) started moving in from the 3rd of this month.
The second round of recruitment targets young people and newlyweds aged between 18 and 49 as of the announcement date, just like the first round, and applicants must have their resident registration in Hwasun-gun at the time of application or be scheduled to move in immediately upon occupancy.
The process is expected to proceed with the announcement of recruitment and application acceptance in August, tenant selection in September, and move-in in October.
