Apartment Window Shattered by Flying Steel Ball... Police Investigation Underway
A complaint has been filed reporting that a glass window in an apartment in Gwangju was broken by a flying metal ball, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Gwangju Nambu Police Station on the 14th, a complaint was received that around 6 p.m. the previous day, a glass window on the 6th floor of an apartment in Ima-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, was broken by a metal ball, shattering the living room window.
The metal ball used in the crime was about 2 cm in diameter and reportedly pierced through the insect screen, broke the glass window, and entered the terrace.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident by analyzing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, based on the direction from which the metal ball flew and testimonies from nearby residents who said elementary school students often played with slingshots in the area.
