Kiturami Group Practices Sharing Management Worth 51 Billion KRW Over 38 Years
Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) donated a scholarship fund of 50 million KRW to Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) on the 13th.
The Kiturami scholarship support program has been a representative social contribution project of Kiturami Group since 1985.
Kiturami Group carries out various social contribution activities through the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and Kiturami Welfare Foundation, established by the founder Chairman Choi Jin-min with his private funds.
These activities include ▲scholarship support programs ▲academic research support programs ▲educational institution development fund support programs ▲social welfare facility support programs ▲Kiturami boiler inspection projects ▲housing environment improvement projects, practicing sharing management worth 51 billion KRW over 38 years to fulfill corporate social responsibility.
The scholarship fund delivered on this day is scheduled to be distributed to 67 households of high school and university students in the region through the 20 community service centers of Seongbuk-gu.
A university student recipient, Kim (surname), expressed gratitude, saying, “It was very difficult to prepare tuition during the vacation, but receiving the scholarship support from Kiturami Group is a great help.”

Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, commented on Kiturami Group’s scholarship support, “Many neighbors are struggling due to the recent economic downturn, so we are grateful for the encouragement and warm sharing extended to our district’s students,” and added, “Seongbuk-gu will also strive harder to create a warm welfare community by spreading a culture of donation and sharing in line with Kiturami Group’s intentions.”
