Korea Zinc Donates Beef Bone Soup, Tuna, Seasoned Laver, and More to Vulnerable Groups in Yeongdeungpo-gu
On the afternoon of the 13th, Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, attended the 'Hope Windmill Goods Delivery Ceremony for Vulnerable Groups During the Heatwave' held at the Yeongdeungpo-gu Office annex.
The ceremony was attended by Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, Kwon Young-gyu, Chairman of the Seoul Branch of the Korean Red Cross, and Lee Min-woo, Head of the Communications Team at the Sustainable Management Headquarters, among others.
The Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association donated 1,010 sets of staple food items including instant beef bone soup, tuna, and seasoned laver sponsored by Korea Zinc to help neighbors in need stay cool during the hot summer.
The donated goods were distributed to 710 vulnerable households and 300 households in gosiwon (small room rental communities) within the region.
