Request for School Safety and Discussion on Second Half Happiness Education District
"I hope that all departments of the Office of Education and all Education Support Offices will do their best so that students can have a safe and healthy summer vacation."
On the 13th, Park Jong-hoon, Superintendent of Gyeongnam Office of Education, said this at the July Education Policy Managers' Meeting held in the main auditorium.

According to the provincial Office of Education, the meeting was held to provide guidance on key matters to be noted at schools ahead of the summer vacation and to strengthen safety inspections and support systems.
The meeting, held under the theme of "Safe and Healthy Summer Vacation," was attended by Superintendent Park, heads of departments of the provincial Office of Education, and directors of Education Support Offices.
A total of 35 items were introduced, including 8 school safety items such as summer water safety education, 21 education and experience items, 4 academic affairs items, and 2 others.
The Secondary Education Division requested the interest and promotion by each Education Support Office to ensure that regionally customized training for the use of iTalkTalk-iBook classes, necessary for activating future-oriented classes, is well operated.
They also asked to review the achievements and progress of the regionally customized training in the first semester so that improvements can be reflected in the training process for the second semester.

In the discussion on current issues, the results of the Regional Education Work Council operation and cases from Education Support Offices, conducted to listen to local issues and voices from the field, were shared.
The discussion focused on support measures to revitalize small schools, which was the most concerned local issue in the county areas.
The School Innovation Division provided guidance on the operation plan for the second half of the year for the Happy Education District in response to budget cuts, followed by a discussion on the matter.
