Gwangju Police Foster 112 Reporting Culture in Cooperation with Citizens
The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency held the '1st Best 112 Reporters' Invitation Event.
On the 12th, the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency invited four reporters who contributed to the arrest of criminals to the Gwangju Police Chief's reception room and the 112 Comprehensive Security Situation Room to express their gratitude.
Im Yong-hwan, Chief of the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency, personally awarded the reporters with prizes (Podori and Posuni dolls with the awardee's name tag attached) along with certificates of appreciation and cash rewards.
The reporters were recognized for their contributions to arrests by actively informing investigative agencies after witnessing crimes such as illegal camera filming, voice phishing, and vehicle theft.
