National Gwangju Science Museum Exhibits Model of Korea's First Lunar Probe 'Danuriho'
The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 12th that it is exhibiting a scaled-down model of South Korea's first lunar probe, Danuriho, in its permanent exhibition hall.
The Danuriho model was donated by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute to showcase the excellence of space science technology and is realized at one-third of the actual size.
Displayed alongside various exhibits on themes such as "How do artificial satellites continuously orbit within a certain range?" and "What phenomena occur in outer space?", it is receiving great responses from visitors.
Deputy Director Jeon Tae-ho stated, "It is meaningful to exhibit the model of Danuriho, South Korea's first lunar probe that represents the status of one of the world's top seven space powers, at the science museum."
