TVING's 'Woossi Wanghu' Starring Jeon Jong-seo, Kim Mu-yeol, and Ji Chang-wook
Online video service (OTT) TVING is producing the original series 'Woo-ssi Wanghu'.
On the 12th, TVING announced that actors Jeon Jong-seo, Kim Mu-yeol, Ji Chang-wook, Jung Yu-mi, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Park Ji-hwan will appear in 'Woo-ssi Wanghu' (directed by Jung Se-gyo, written by Lee Byung-hak), which will be released in 2024.
'Woo-ssi Wanghu' is a chase action historical drama about Queen Woo, who becomes the target of five tribes vying for power and princes aiming for the throne after the sudden death of the king, struggling to establish a new king within 24 hours.
Jeon Jong-seo plays Queen Woo-hee of Goguryeo. She is the queen of Goguryeo, born into a humble family despite her beauty and intelligence, and thus holds no power.
Kim Mu-yeol portrays Eulpaso, the prime minister of Goguryeo and the king’s military commander, Daemakriji. Eulpaso is an outstanding figure who rose to Daemakriji despite his weakness as a descendant of a native family, but harbors unresolved desires in his heart.
Ji Chang-wook plays Go Nam-mu, King Gokukcheon, Woo-hee’s husband, and Jung Yu-mi plays Woo-soon, Woo-hee’s older sister.
