LH, Public Recruitment of 230 New Employees in 2023
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 12th that it will publicly recruit 230 new employees to successfully implement government policies such as New:Home supply and the creation of national advanced industrial complexes, as well as to expand youth employment.
This recruitment is the first in about one and a half years since December 2021, following a large-scale reduction in personnel under the government's ‘LH Innovation Plan’ and ‘Public Institution Function Adjustment Plan’.
The number of recruits is 230, consisting of 207 Grade 5 employees and 23 Grade 6 employees. The job categories include 102 administrative positions and 128 technical positions.
There are no restrictions on education, age, or experience; however, some Grade 5 technical and administrative positions require relevant field engineer certifications, and for Grade 6 positions, only those who have graduated (or are expected to graduate) from high school are eligible to apply.
Grade 5 administrative positions are recruited in seven fields: ▲General Administration ▲Law ▲Accounting ▲Computer Science ▲Cadastral Survey ▲Cultural Heritage ▲Records Management. Grade 5 technical positions are recruited in eight fields: ▲Civil Engineering ▲Urban Planning ▲Landscape Architecture ▲Environment ▲Transportation ▲Architecture ▲Mechanical Engineering ▲Electrical Engineering.
Grade 6 positions are divided and recruited in six fields: ▲Administration ▲Civil Engineering ▲Landscape Architecture ▲Architecture ▲Mechanical Engineering ▲Electrical Engineering.
The written test is divided into NCS basic vocational skills and job competency, and the interview consists of a job presentation interview and a personality interview.
LH, as the first public corporation, provides a 5% additional score in the document screening for youth preparing for independence to support the social advancement of socially disadvantaged groups, and hires more people with disabilities and national veterans than the legally mandated employment quotas.
People with disabilities are separately recruited at 7.2% (legal quota 3.6%), and national veterans at 8% (legal quota 6%). In the disability recruitment track, eligibility for certifications has been relaxed (from Engineer to Industrial Engineer), and the number of candidates passing the written exam has been doubled compared to the general recruitment track.
The gender equality recruitment target ratio, which ensures that neither gender exceeds a certain proportion, has been expanded from the previous 25% to 30%.
The application period is from the 19th to the 27th of this month, with written and interview tests scheduled for August to September, and appointments expected by the end of October. For detailed information regarding recruitment, refer to the recruitment announcement posted on the LH website after 2 p.m. on the 13th.
