BPA·IPA China Representative Offices Hold Joint Meeting with National Shipping Companies
On the 11th, the Busan Port Authority (BPA) China Representative Office jointly held a meeting with the Incheon Port Authority (IPA) China Representative Office with domestic shipping companies based in Shanghai, China.
At the event, representatives from 13 major domestic shipping companies based in Shanghai attended, and BPA and IPA explained the cargo handling performance for the first half of 2023 and the main business plans for the second half of the year.
BPA introduced overseas logistics centers established and operated at key hubs such as Rotterdam, Netherlands, to enhance the logistics competitiveness of Korean companies.

They also listened to various opinions and response measures from domestic shipping companies regarding the rapidly changing Chinese shipping market situation, freight rate fluctuations, and cargo volume decline.
