Former Samsung Electronics CEOs Publish Books One After Another
Former CEOs of Samsung Electronics have consecutively published books.
According to the industry on the 11th, Ko Dong-jin, an advisor at Samsung Electronics and former CEO of Samsung Electronics' Mobile Division (formerly IM Division), has released a book titled "What is Work?" (Minumsa).
Advisor Ko joined Samsung Electronics as an entry-level employee in 1984 and held key positions such as head of the European research center, head of product planning, and head of development. He is recognized as a key figure in the "Galaxy success story." In this book, he shares the experiences and know-how he pondered and practiced over 38 years at Samsung.

Earlier last month, Hwang Chang-gyu, former President of Technology at Samsung Electronics (and former Chairman of KT), published a book titled "Hwang's Law" (Sigongsa). He is well known as the protagonist of "Hwang's Law," which states that the capacity of memory semiconductors doubles every year. This book also contains the lessons and experiences Hwang gained during over 30 years of organizational life at Samsung Electronics and KT.
