Foreign National Causes Disturbance in Taxi... Tested Positive for Philopon and Marijuana
Three foreign women who caused a disturbance in a taxi while under the influence of drugs were arrested by the police.
On the 11th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that three American women were booked on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
They are suspected of recently taking methamphetamine-based psychotropic drugs and oral marijuana without a prescription at a hotel located in Myeongdong, Seoul.
On the 8th, the women were found lying in the restroom at the 'Summer Water Wars' event venue in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, and were sent off by security guards in a taxi. While riding in the taxi on a road in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, they caused a disturbance, prompting the taxi driver to report the incident at a nearby police box. A rapid drug test showed positive results for all three.
