Jeongeup-si to Operate 'City Tour' Until December

Jeongeup City in Jeollabuk-do will operate the 'Jeongeup City Tour' from the 15th of this month until December.

According to the city on the 11th, this city tour, composed of various courses that allow visitors to enjoy Jeongeup's beautiful natural scenery and history and culture, will be conducted in two types: 'Regular Tour' and 'Special Tour.'

Additionally, a cultural tourism guide will accompany the tours to provide more enjoyable and informative commentary.

The regular tour, departing every Saturday in front of Jeongeup Station, includes a city tour featuring Naejangsan Mountain, which is Jeongeup's pride and retains beauty throughout all four seasons; the UNESCO World Heritage site Museongseowon Confucian Academy; the Donghak Peasant Revolution Memorial Hall, the birthplace of democracy in Korea; and Jeongeup Ssanghwacha Street, the only one of its kind in the country.

The special tour, available for groups of 20 or more regardless of the day, offers a wider range of themes for visitors to choose from, including the city tour, Donghak Peasant Revolution exploration course, Taesan Seonbi Culture course, and Jeongeup Gujeolcho Provincial Garden course.

Applications can be made through advance reservations on the Jeongeup City website under Culture and Tourism (Travel Guide) or by contacting the Tourism Division.

The usage fee per person is 5,000 KRW for adults; 3,000 KRW for military personnel, youth, persons with disabilities, and seniors aged 70 and above; and 2,000 KRW for children. Experience fees, meal costs, and travel insurance fees are the responsibility of the users.
