S-Oil Launches Support Program to Select Promising New Energy Startups
S-OIL announced on the 11th that it will select promising startups with innovative technologies in collaboration with Seoul Startup Hub and provide multifaceted support.
The recruitment fields include ▲New Energy ▲Environment ▲Chemicals & Materials ▲Mobility ▲Others (such as smart plants, potential new energy & chemical business areas), and the selection criteria focus on companies excelling in innovation (originality), service sustainability, service scalability, and business viability (added value).
The application period is until Thursday, August 31, and applications can be submitted through the Seoul Startup Hub website.
Selected companies will receive customized benefits such as commercialization support funds for validating new technologies or ideas, global expansion support funds, office space support, media promotion, and ESG consulting. They will also be included as candidates for investment review by partner companies, with expectations for follow-up support. S-OIL plans to actively consider direct investment in the final selected companies.

An S-OIL representative explained, "We signed a business agreement with Seoul Startup Hub and have been operating a joint program for four years since 2020," adding, "We have achieved excellent results, including direct investments totaling 3 billion KRW in three companies: Beomjun E&C, Glory Entec, and LeeU CNC."
