The Joint ESG Project in the Distribution Industry aims to develop a supply chain ESG management manual specialized for the distribution industry in collaboration with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and distributors, and to establish a platform for distributors to jointly utilize ESG information of their partners.
According to the agreement to promote the Joint ESG Project in the Distribution Industry, GS Retail will participate in the 'Joint ESG Project Promotion Committee in the Distribution Industry' to jointly address ESG issues in the distribution sector and to discover and promote various projects.
Specifically, starting this month, GS Retail will participate in developing the 'ESG Self-Diagnosis Guidelines for Distribution Partners' based on global standards and domestic related criteria for supply chain ESG information disclosure.
