GS Global Begins Customer Delivery of BYD 1t Electric Truck T4K
GS Global announced on the 7th that it has officially started customer deliveries by holding the handover ceremony for the first unit of the 1-ton electric truck 'T4K' launched in collaboration with BYD.
On the 6th, GS Global held the handover ceremony for the first T4K unit at the T4K Seoul Guro branch in Guro-gu, Seoul, together with Shinaeju e-Truck, the official dealer in the metropolitan area. The first delivery customer was selected as the initial purchaser through reservation and consultation requests under 'Buy BYD Truck' on the KakaoT app.
The first delivery customer, Mr. Yang Sang-guk, said, "I was considering an electric truck capable of frequent medium- to long-distance travel during weekdays in Seoul and weekends in the suburbs, and I chose the T4K after seeing its long driving range." He added, "I like the spacious cargo bed that can accommodate leisure items such as canoe equipment, and especially the V2L function, which is useful for camping and various outdoor activities."

The T4K is a 1-ton electric truck launched by GS Global in collaboration with BYD, actively reflecting the demands of Korean consumers. It is equipped with the largest capacity of 82 kWh among domestic 1-ton electric trucks, enabling driving ranges of 246 km at normal temperature and 209 km at low temperature according to Ministry of Environment certification standards. The motor’s maximum output is 140 kW. Featuring BYD’s blade battery with excellent thermal stability and the V2L (Vehicle to Load) function that supplies electricity externally, it offers versatile uses and special features.
A representative from GS Global’s Mobility Division stated, "The T4K was launched by concentrating all our capabilities, including advanced convenience and safety features, in collaboration with BYD for the Korean market. Starting with the delivery of the first unit, we are preparing for fast deliveries so that many customers who have been waiting can quickly experience the T4K."

Meanwhile, the T4K can currently be seen at dedicated T4K showrooms in Guro-gu, Seoul, Osan in Gyeonggi Province, and Busan-Gyeongnam. Additionally, by the end of the year, GS Global plans to establish 14 dedicated T4K sales branches and over 40 service centers nationwide in major key locations with excellent customer accessibility, including Yongsan in Seoul, Cheonan, Daejeon, Daegu, and two locations in the Honam region.
