Establishing Mutual Support and Cooperation Systems through Joint Pest Control Training
Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) conducted a joint maritime pollution response training involving civilian, government, and military personnel on the 6th near Daebul Pier in Yeongam-gun to strengthen capabilities in responding to marine pollution accidents.

According to Mokpo Maritime Police on the 7th, the training assumed a large-scale oil spill accident caused by a ship collision, with about 200 participants from 12 organizations, groups, and companies including the Navy's 3rd Fleet, Mokpo Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation, and the Marine Autonomous Defense Corps.
The training focused on enhancing overall response capabilities to marine pollution accidents, including △ lifesaving △ sealing the damaged area of the accident ship △ underwater transfer of loaded oil △ pollution group search using drones.
In particular, an external evaluation committee member participating in this training was a participant in the 'Retired Public Officials Social Contribution Project' organized by the Ministry of Personnel Management, who directly evaluated the training as an expert in disaster and defense safety, sharing 20 years of experience and know-how.
