89 Cases of Unregistered Birth Infants in Seoul Under Police Investigation
As the government is conducting a comprehensive investigation into cases of 'unreported births,' it has been reported that there are 89 children under police investigation in Seoul.
According to the police on the 6th, as of 1 PM the previous day, a total of 89 cases related to the comprehensive investigation of unreported births have been notified to police stations under the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency for cooperation requests and investigation referrals.
Among the 89 cases, 71 are either under 'preliminary investigation (internal inquiry)' or 'investigation,' and 11 cases are in the process of verifying basic facts, the police stated.
