The Women and Juvenile Investigation Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 6th that they had urgently detained and were investigating Ms. A, a woman in her 40s, on charges of abandoning a corpse.
Ms. A is suspected of giving birth to a daughter at a hospital in Incheon on August 7, 2016, and after the baby died the next day, secretly burying her in a garden in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi Province, without any funeral procedures.
