Treatment of Korean War Veterans Visiting Korea Will Change
Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and Incheon Airport Corporation Agreement... Simplification of Entry Procedures and Other Privileges
From now on, UN veterans of the Korean War will be honored with "special protocol" when visiting Korea. The entry procedures for veterans will be simplified, and they will be able to use dedicated immigration channels and exclusive convenience facilities.
On the 5th, a day before Memorial Day, the Seoul City Dream Billboard made up of about 150 photos of Korean War veterans was unveiled on the front of Seoul Library in Jung-gu, Seoul. This Dream Billboard features the phrase "You are a hero even after 70 years" along with photos of Korean War veterans arranged to symbolize the number 70 (marking the 70th anniversary of the armistice).
