Ottogi Publishes '2023 Sustainable Management Report'
Selection of 6 Key Topics Through Double Materiality Assessment
Presentation of Sustainable Management Activities, Achievements, and Plans
Ottogi announced on the 4th that it has published the "2023 Sustainability Management Report," which consolidates its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities and achievements.
This report includes ESG management activities and goals under the theme of "Contributing to the improvement of human dietary life to create a happy world." Specifically, it selected six core topics: ▲ Sustainable Packaging ▲ Responsible Sourcing ▲ Food Safety and Quality ▲ Climate Change Response ▲ Health and Nutrition ▲ Human Rights Management, detailing strategies, achievements, and plans for each.
To determine the importance of issues, Ottogi conducted surveys targeting key internal and external stakeholders and derived core topics based on a "double materiality" assessment that simultaneously considers the impact of social and environmental factors on the company's financial status and the impact of the company's business on society and the environment.
To transparently disclose management status, a separate section was created where readers can check quality management systems, customer communication, organizational culture, governance, ethical management, stakeholder engagement, and materiality assessment. Detailed information about the report is available on Ottogi’s official website.
