Korea Forest Welfare Institute Announces Call for Proposals for 'Lottery Fund Green Project Support Program'
The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 3rd that it will open applications for the ‘2024 Green Fund Support Project’ from the 17th to the 28th.
The Green Fund to be invested in the support project is created from lottery proceeds distributed according to the ‘Lottery and Lottery Fund Act’ and is used to protect the forest environment and enhance forest functions in accordance with the ‘Act on the Creation and Management of Forest Resources’.
Through the support project, the Forest Welfare Institute plans to expand forest accessibility and forest experience opportunities for socially and economically vulnerable groups.
In particular, next year’s support project will expand eligibility for the ‘Vulnerable Area Green Infrastructure Expansion Project’ by adding self-reliance support agencies (indoor and outdoor Nanum Forests) and non-profit corporations (Nanum Gil), and will change the application categories of the ‘Forest Experience and Education Support Project for Vulnerable Groups’ from the previous four content-centered items such as forest healing and healthcare to three categories based on the project operation method: effectiveness enhancement type, experience expansion type, and Nanum Forest care type.
Applications can be submitted by uploading the project proposal and related application documents to the Green Fund Integrated Management System.
For more detailed information about the application, refer to the notice posted on the Korea Forest Welfare Institute’s website.
