GH Holds 'Anti-Corruption Strategy Review Meeting' for Executives
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held an 'Anti-Corruption Strategy Review Meeting' on the 3rd at the GH headquarters in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, with all division heads and department managers in attendance.
The meeting was conducted in a format where each department head presented strategic tasks to diagnose and review corruption risks by department and improve them. Participants actively discussed specific implementation plans.
Earlier, from the end of May for about a month, GH identified potential corruption risks by corruption type for each department and established strategic tasks including improvement measures.
GH identified the derived corruption types as ▲ use of undisclosed information ▲ power abuse over partner companies ▲ acceptance of money or valuables ▲ improper solicitation ▲ information security ▲ damage to reliability, among others. As improvement measures, GH proposed strengthening pre-education and campaign activities to eradicate power abuse, forming evaluation committees, and establishing measures to ensure fairness in evaluations.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, stated, "It is important to prevent corruption risks as much as possible in advance," and promised, "We will pay special attention to ensure that the planned improvement measures are well implemented and leap forward as a more transparent company."
