Russia Resumes Night Drone Attacks on Ukraine's Capital After 12 Days
It was reported on the 2nd that Russian forces resumed nighttime drone attacks on Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and surrounding areas after 12 days.
According to major foreign media, Serhiy Popko, the head of Kyiv's military administration, said on his Telegram channel, "Enemy forces have launched another attack on Kyiv," adding, "At this time, there is no information about casualties or damage caused by the attack."
The Ukrainian Air Force reported shooting down eight Iranian-made Shahed drones and three cruise missiles. As drone debris fell, three houses in the Kyiv area were damaged, and one person was injured.

Earlier, Russian forces also launched missiles, including shelling, in southeastern Ukraine the previous day. In eastern Donetsk, more than three civilians were killed and 17 injured due to Russian shelling from the 30th of last month to the 1st of this month. In southern Kherson Province, five people, including one child, were injured.
