Following the opening of the Songdo hub office on the 15th of last month, POSCO Group will also start operating the Pangyo hub office from July 3rd.
Since November 2021, POSCO Group has been operating 'With POSCO Work Station' hub offices with 70 seats at Park One in Yeouido, Seoul, and 50 seats at Geumsegi Building in Euljiro, with over 9,000 POSCO Group employees having used these facilities to date.
The newly established Pangyo and Songdo hub offices are expected to reduce commuting fatigue for employees living in the southeastern Gyeonggi and Incheon areas and serve as contact points for visits to various client companies and research institutes located in those regions.
The Pangyo hub office, located within the POSCO DX building, spans 192 pyeong and is equipped with meeting rooms, personal lockers, and a pantry in addition to workspaces for convenience. The Songdo hub office, located in POSCO Tower Songdo, covers 71 pyeong and is designed primarily as a focused work environment.
These two hub offices will initially be operated for POSCO Holdings and POSCO employees, with plans to consider expanding access to other group companies based on demand.
Employees wishing to use the 'With POSCO Work Station' facilities located in Park One Tower, Geumsegi Building, Pangyo DX building, and POSCO Tower Songdo can conveniently reserve their preferred location and seat through the internal reservation system.
Since April, not only employees based in Seoul and the metropolitan area but also those stationed in Pohang and Gwangyang have been able to use the hub offices. Employees in Pohang and Gwangyang, who can work remotely depending on their job nature, are allowed to freely use the metropolitan area hub offices up to four days per month.
