Jugeonhyeop-HUG Holds Ceremony for Delivery of Housing Repair and Rental Funds for National Veterans

View original imageThe Korea Housing Builders Association and the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) jointly held the "2023 National Merit Recipients' Old House Repair and Rental Fund Delivery Ceremony" on the 29th at the Federation of Korean Industries Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul, the association announced on the 30th.
Marking its 30th anniversary this year, the event awarded government honors including the National Medal, Presidential Citation, and Prime Minister's Citation to 43 out of 114 housing construction companies that provided free repairs for the old houses of national merit recipients. Additionally, commendations from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, plaques of appreciation, and merit plaques from the Korea Housing Builders Association president were presented. The Korea Housing Builders Association, which has promoted this project for 30 years, also received a merit plaque from the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.

HUG delivered a total of 500 million KRW in housing rental funds, ranging from 4 to 5 million KRW per household, to 97 homeless national merit recipient households.
