CU Decides to Lower Prices of PB Products... "Adjusting Own Margins"
3 Types of Snacks and 2 Types of Milk Each 100 Won Off↓
CU announced on the 30th that it has decided to lower the prices of its private brand (PB) products to contribute to price stabilization.
The items with reduced prices this time are three types of Heyroo snacks and two types of milk. These products are popular, selling more than 200,000 units on average per month, and their prices will be reduced by 100 won starting from the 1st of next month. The three snack varieties will decrease from 1,500 won to 1,400 won. Heyroo White Milk (1L) will change from 2,600 won to 2,500 won, and U-yu Deuktem (1.8L) will change from 4,500 won to 4,400 won.
This price reduction is carried out by CU reducing its own margin without adjusting the supply price from suppliers, in order to ease the burden on small and medium-sized partner companies that find it difficult to adjust prices due to rising raw material costs.
