Two Japanese Self-Defense Force F-35 Fighters Make Consecutive Emergency Landings
Two F-35 fighter jets belonging to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force made emergency landings in succession at Aomori Airport in Aomori Prefecture.
According to reports from Kyodo News and NHK, the two F-35 fighter jets made emergency landings at around 3:35 PM and 3:40 PM on the 28th, respectively. It is reported that there were no injuries among the occupants. The Air Self-Defense Force is currently investigating the cause of the emergency landings.
However, due to the emergency landings of the fighter jets, the runway at Aomori Airport was temporarily closed, causing delays of up to 43 minutes for three civilian aircraft.
