Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Awards 18 People in 4 Categories Including Commendations
On the 28th, the Gyeongnam Eastern Regional Office of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs held the 2023 Model Patriots and Veterans Award Ceremony and External Meritorious Person Commendation at the main auditorium of the Government Gyeongnam Regional Joint Office.
The award ceremony, held every June during the Month of Patriots and Veterans, honors patriots and veterans who have contributed to the development of the nation and local communities, as well as external meritorious persons who have worked to improve the welfare of veterans' families. This serves to boost the pride and morale of the awardees and contributes to fostering a culture of respect for veterans' families and spreading the culture of patriotism.

About 150 people, including Park Hyung-in, head of the Gyeongnam branch of the Liberation Association, heads of veterans organizations, and veterans' families, attended the ceremony to congratulate and encourage the awardees.
