20s Arrested for Breaking Unmanned Store Bill Exchanger and Stealing Money
A man in his 20s who stole cash from an unmanned store was arrested by the police.
According to the Jinhae Police Station in Changwon, Gyeongnam, on the 28th, Mr. A is accused of breaking the bill exchanger using tools such as a cutter at an unmanned claw machine arcade in Yeoja-dong, Jinhae-gu, around 8:40 p.m. on the 27th, and fleeing with about 400,000 won in cash inside.
Earlier, around 8:30 p.m., he entered an unmanned snack bar in Jinhae-gu and attempted to steal from the cash payment machine but failed to open it, then moved to another store to commit the crime.
The police, who responded to the report, confirmed through CCTV analysis that Mr. A traveled by public transportation and tracked him down, arresting him around 12:50 a.m. on the 28th at a PC cafe in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon.
It is known that Mr. A committed the crime to cover living expenses and entertainment costs.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant after investigating whether Mr. A, who has a history of similar crimes, committed additional offenses.
