Korea Forest Welfare Institute Operates 'University Student Field Internship Semester System' for Forestry Majors
The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 28th that it will operate the '2023 University Student Field Internship Semester Program' from the 26th of this month to August 23rd.
This program is conducted for 22 young people and university students majoring in forestry. Participants in the program will have the opportunity to gain on-site job experience at national forest welfare facilities.
To ensure smooth operation of this year's program, the Forest Welfare Institute signed agreements with 11 universities nationwide, including Yeungnam University, and selected participants through recruitment announcements and selection procedures in accordance with the Ministry of Education's operational regulations.
Youth and university students participating in the program will gain practical experience in tasks related to the development and operation of forest welfare programs and customer service within facilities for 4 to 8 weeks at the National Forest Healing Center and the Chilgok, Jangseong, Cheongdo, Daejeon, Naju, and Chuncheon National Forest Education Centers.
