This vehicle was launched domestically in September last year and sold out its initial stock within two weeks, becoming the best-selling imported electric vehicle.
The biggest change in this model is the increased driving range. The maximum driving range per charge is 440 km based on combined standards, which is 35 km longer than the previous 405 km. The urban driving range is 484 km, an increase of 58 km from the previous 426 km. The low-temperature driving range also increased from 288 km to 389 km. Equipped with an 82 kWh high-voltage battery, it delivers a maximum output of 150 kW (204 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 31.6 kg·m. When charging at the maximum fast charging speed with 5% battery remaining, it can charge up to 80% of the battery capacity in about 36 minutes.
The official selling price (after tax benefits and including VAT) is 56.9 million KRW for the Pro Light and 59.9 million KRW for the Pro. A national electric vehicle subsidy of 5.8 million KRW is available, and with local government subsidies applied, the purchase price can start from the low 40 million KRW range depending on the region.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen Korea has resumed deliveries of models that were temporarily delayed since the 9th due to software issues. Software updates for all models have been completed, and starting from the 27th, deliveries have been sequentially resumed beginning with the facelifted ID.4 and Tiguan Allspace. A recall was conducted on the 26th for previously sold units of the affected models, and free repairs are being carried out at official service centers nationwide.
