Gyeongnam Nonghyup Awards Future Agricultural Talent Scholarship to Gyeongsang National University
Support of 69 Million KRW Provided to 23 Graduate Students in Agricultural University
Gyeongnam Nonghyup visited Gyeongsang National University on the 26th to deliver scholarships for nurturing future agricultural talents.
The ceremony was attended by Kim Ju-yang, General Director of Gyeongnam Nonghyup, Jo Geun-su, Head of NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters, Kwon Soon-gi, President of Gyeongsang National University, Nam Tae-hyun, Dean of the Graduate School at Gyeongsang National University, and Kim Min-chul, Dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, among other officials.
A total of 69 million KRW was awarded, with 3 million KRW given to each of the 23 outstanding graduate students selected from agriculture-related departments.

Director Kim Ju-yang said, “We hope that the excellent agricultural talents produced by Gyeongsang National University in our region will grow into next-generation leaders who will lead future agriculture through their academic and research activities.”
President Kwon Soon-gi expressed gratitude, saying, “The seeds sown by the Nonghyup Foundation in our society will grow into beautiful flowers and fine timber. I believe these seeds will paint beautiful patterns of trust, love, care, and encouragement in our society.”

Gyeongnam Nonghyup and Gyeongsang National University signed a social contribution business agreement in 2017 and have been recognized as exemplary partners working together for the public good of the local community, including conducting joint volunteer work annually.
