Price Reflected in Shipping Cost Starting July 1
Nongshim announced on the 27th that it will lower the ex-factory prices of Shin Ramyun and Saewookkang starting July 1st.
The price of one pack of Shin Ramyun, sold at 1,000 won at retail stores, is expected to decrease by 50 won, and Saewookkang, priced at 1,500 won, will be reduced by 100 won. Nongshim explained, "The price of wheat flour supplied by domestic milling companies is scheduled to decrease by 5% starting July, and the cost savings for Nongshim will be about 8 billion won annually," adding, "We expect that this price reduction will provide consumers with benefits exceeding 20 billion won annually."

A Nongshim official stated, "Shin Ramyun (bag noodles) and Saewookkang, which are subject to the price reduction, generate annual sales of 360 billion won domestically and have been loved as the nation's ramen and snack," and added, "Although this price cut poses a burden on management, it was targeted at products closely related to the daily lives of the people."
