Ace Bed Founder Chairman An Yusu Passes Away
Chairman Ahn Yusu, the founder of Ace Bed, the No. 1 bed company in Korea, passed away on the 26th at the age of 93.
Born in 1930, Chairman Ahn was from Sariwon, Hwanghae Province, and moved south during the Korean War.
He graduated from Gwangseong High School in Seoul and the Department of Political Economy at Dong-A University, and completed graduate studies at Korea University Business School. He also received an honorary doctorate in business administration from Dankook University.
In 1963, he established Ace Bed Industry in Geumho-dong, Seoul, and grew it into the current Ace Bed.
He was awarded the Order of Industrial Service Merit ? Iron Tower, the Order of Industrial Service Merit ? Gold Tower, and the Italian National Order.

Chairman Ahn’s eldest son is Ahn Seongho, CEO of Ace Bed, and his second son is Ahn Jeongho, CEO of Simmons Bed.
