Studio Dragon CEO Resigns... "Moral Responsibility for Internal Misconduct"
Kim Young-gyu, co-CEO of Studio Dragon, stepped down from his position, taking moral responsibility for misconduct that occurred within the company.
On the 26th, Studio Dragon announced through a disclosure that "CEO Kim Young-gyu resigned due to personal reasons."
Kim's sudden resignation appears to be related to an embezzlement incident raised internally. Recently, Studio Dragon received a report that a content producer embezzled company funds and conducted an internal audit.
A Studio Dragon official stated, "It is difficult to disclose specific details of the audit, but it was confirmed that misconduct occurred during the content production process," adding, "CEO Kim Young-gyu, who was overseeing the content division, took moral responsibility and resigned."
