National Gwangju Science Museum Achieves 'Highest Grade' in Management Evaluation
The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 26th that it has received the highest grade, 'S grade,' in the '2022 Public Institution Performance Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Following 2019 and 2020, the museum once again achieved the top score, reaffirming the excellence of its institutional management performance.
The public institution management evaluation is conducted annually to comprehensively assess the efforts to improve management and operational performance of public institutions.
In this evaluation, the Gwangju Science Museum was recognized for its excellence in business operation performance, including ▲establishing management strategies through government policy and environmental analysis ▲strengthening execution through job analysis and work process establishment ▲public participation communication feedback such as LuceStar ▲responding to environmental changes by constructing new exhibition halls such as the Children's Science Hall and Artificial Intelligence Hall ▲and expanding projects through collaboration with various institutions.
Jeon Tae-ho, Acting Director, stated, “Based on our past operational achievements, we will fulfill our role as a central institution for spreading science culture throughout life as a communication space where science and art harmonize.”
