Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the 'Human Book Invitation Event with Young Artists' at 10:30 a.m. on the 24th at the first floor Dain Jeongdam of Nowon Central Library.
The Human Book is a new concept reading service that lends people with experience and knowledge in certain fields like a book, providing an opportunity to have conversations for a set period of time.
To mark the first anniversary of the 8th elected term, the district prepared a meeting where the Human Book 'Mayor Oh Seung-rok' and young local artists could discuss Nowon's cultural and artistic policies.
At this event, Mayor Oh introduced the projects pursued over the past year aimed at making the city a cultural hub and had a time to discuss with young artists the areas that need improvement going forward.
The Human Book invitation event was attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok and 10 young artists active in Nowon District, proceeding for about 1 hour and 30 minutes with sharing Human Book stories, mutual dialogue, Q&A, and commemorative photos.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon District said, "It was a meaningful time to meet young local artists, review the district’s cultural and artistic policies, and think together about the future direction," adding, "I will continue to create opportunities to communicate with various residents."
