Resolving Issues and Conflicts through Active Administration, Preventing Passive Administration, and Active Administration Public Applications
Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Park Hee-young) will conduct in-depth training to promote active administration over two days, on the 23rd and 28th.
This training is an in-depth program focused on practical staff, linked with the Active Administration Practice Week (June 19?30), targeting employees of the district office and Yongsan-gu Facility Management Corporation.
The main training topics include resolving issues and conflicts through active administration, preventing passive administration, and the active administration public application system.
The first session on the 23rd is for practical staff. On this day, Administrative Officer Han Jeong-woon from the Public Application Team of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission will explain the concept and types of passive administration, case examples by type, procedures for handling passive administration, and the active administration public application system.
The second and third sessions on the 28th are for practical staff involved in permits and approvals and managers at grade 6 or above, respectively. The lectures will be delivered by Nam Won-jun, an expert lecturer on active and integrity administration, who previously served as the Director of the Seoul Welfare Headquarters and the Waterworks Business Headquarters.
The main lecture topics include understanding and practicing active administration based on practical experience, and resolving issues and conflicts through active administration.
The district is making multifaceted efforts to enhance the will to practice active administration and to spread a culture of public service. In February, basic workplace training on active administration was conducted for all district office employees.
Additionally, the district has designated June 19 to 30 as Active Administration Practice Week, promoting initiatives such as ▲ one active administration practice per department ▲ active administration practice campaigns ▲ strengthened online and offline publicity ▲ and active administration capacity-building training.
