She said, “Daegu is a reliable hometown that supports me when I sometimes feel lonely or exhausted,” and added, “I hope that participating in the hometown love donation will be an opportunity to practice sharing and to let more people know about my charming hometown, Daegu.”
Kim is actively participating in various TV entertainment programs such as ‘Undercover Employment’ and ‘Kick a Goal, Girls’. Recently, she was ranked first in the Most Influential Entertainer category at the ‘2023 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards’ and participated as a national representative in the 2022 International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) shooting competition, gaining much love for her energetic and challenging spirit.
The Brand Customer Loyalty Awards is an award hosted by the Korea Consumer Forum that recognizes brands with high consumer trust.
The hometown love donation system allows individuals to donate not only to the region where they were born but also to their ‘second hometowns’ formed through studies, work, or travel. Local governments use the donations for residents’ welfare, and donors receive tax deductions and gifts in return.
Daegu City plans to actively use the hometown love donation fund, managed as a fund, for projects that resonate with local residents and donors, such as supporting vulnerable groups and youth development.
